It is how we choose to deal with those outer circumstances that is the mitigating factor as to whether or not we have stress, which can cause anxiety and a whole lot of other health problems.

Think about it for a moment. Things happen in life. We can either act or react. We can worry, which can leads to anxiety chest pains, or we can learn to use our minds to stop are worrying instead. Anxiety never solved a problem and never will.

Anxiety and Your Health

If your medical doctor has ruled out other reasons for your chest pain and it has been determined anxiety is the cause of your chest pain and your anxiety continues, other health problems may eventually appear such as ulcers, high blood pressure, heart attacks/heart pain, and even strokes. New Perspectives

If you talk to someone else about what is going on, you can either gain a new perspective, or they can give you their perspective. Their outlook might be better because they can see everything from the outside in and you cannot. All you see is what is directly in front of you. A counselor can give you his viewpoint and can even help you to see far beyond that.

Creating an Action Plan

Everything that happens in this life is only temporary anyways. You came into this world with nothing and you will leave with nothing. Don’t let the temporary issues bring you down. Anxiety chest pain is very serious because it can lead to more serious problems. If you get to the root of the problems in your life, deal with them, and come up with a new action plan to help you with future problems, you can ward off any further health problems.

Everyone’s action plan will be different, which is a given since we all lead different lives. However, there is something you can do while you wait to see a counselor. You can breathe. It is so easy but many of us forget to just breathe.

Breathing deep is what meditation is. Many people think that meditation has to be complicated or done in a certain way and in a certain spot. This is not the case. You can sit anywhere and in any position.

All you have to do is quiet your mind and breathe. If thoughts come up, acknowledge them, let them go, and keep breathing deep. This is a great way in which you may be able to come up with new solutions to your challenges, solutions that you’ve never thought of before.

Also, make sure to call a counselor to set up an appointment. No one is exempt from receiving the benefits of collaborating with a counselor/therapist.
